Description
The NANOCOLOR® Nickel Tube Test is for the photometric determination of nickel.
In the presence of an oxidizing agent nickel ions react with dimethylglyoxime in an alkaline solution to form a reddish-brown complex.
Nickel in complexes will not be detected. For the determination of total Nickel, a digestion with NANOCOLOR® NanOx Metal (order code 918 978) or with the digestion kit (order code 918 08) has to be carried out before.
