Description
For the detection of aluminium in water. Test kit includes test strips and liquid reagents. Results are obtained within 2 minutes.
Aluminium is the third most abundant element in the Earth’s crust and can be present in natural water. In water treatment processes, aluminium sulphate (alum) is commonly used as a coagulant. When alum is added to water, bacteria and other impurities clump together forming flocs which can then be filtered from the water. QUANTOFIX® Aluminium can be used to check the integrity of the filtering system.
